Collen Banda (48) of Hopley Zone 4, not attached to any school, was reported to have threatened the learner aged 12 and sexually assaulted her.

Banda had finished conducting a lesson with the learner and it was just the two of them in the room.

Robert Mugabe Junior, aged 33, was arrested in Harare yesterday by police officers from the Drugs and Narcotics Section.

He was taken into custody at Harare Central Police Station after being allegedly found in possession of two sachets of dagga and a quantity of white powder suspected to be cocaine, which was discovered among cash in his possession. Your thoughts below

Wicknell Chivayo Inlaws robbed of US$75000.00

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has launched an investigation into a daring robbery at the residence of controversial tenderpreneur Wicknell Chivayo’s in-laws, where approximately US$75,000 in cash was stolen.

The stolen amount is believed to be part of the lobola payment received by Chivayo’s in-laws when he married his girlfriend Lulu Muteke last week.

According to reports, a group of approximately 19 armed robbers carried out the heist at Alpha Omega Farm in Marondera.

The stolen amount has raised eyebrows, as it contradicts Chivayo’s recent claims regarding his lobola payment. Chivayo had stated in an interview that he paid less than US$20,000 as lobola for Lulu. However, the stolen cash is believed to be part of the lobola payment, which was reportedly around US$300,000.

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has launched an investigation into reports of petrol-driven vehicle fires in and around Harare.According to ZRP spokesperson Paul Nyathi, the incidents took place at various business premises in Avondale, Highlands, Newlands, and Goromonzi during the early hours of Friday, 28 March 2025.Nyathi said the vehicles were deliberately set on fire by the individuals driving them.

After igniting the fires, the perpetrators swiftly jumped into accompanying vehicles and fled the scenes at high speeds. This could be linked to the March 31 Protests.What bare your thoughts Zimbabwe?
