Rumour has it there are tanks on the streets of Harare. You might want to open the window and look outside to be sure. If this is true and you can see tanks outside, do tell! If indeed there are tanks on the streets of Harare, Why are they there and who ordered them there? Could this be another 2017 repeat. From the grapevine-Something fishy about the statement below
"Nick Mangwana assured members of the public not to panic or worry.
“There is a scheduled exercise to test equipment which is taking place today. Nothing to be concerned about.”
Presidential spokesman George Charamba also confirmed that the Zimbabwe Defence Force is undergoing routine maintenance exercises.
“Support your Zimbabwe Defence Force, ZDF as it goes through the routine of ensuring all its battle systems are in tip-top state!!! #ZDF, KEEPING YOU SECURE AND DEFENDED!!!!!”
In response to Advocate Fadzayi Mahere’s question about whether Zimbabwe was going to war, George Charamba clarified that the Zimbabwe Defence Force does not conduct such routine exercises because they are not at war."
